The food is delicious considering its affordable price, definitely worth a try. The queue isn't too long either. The place is more comfortable than Pak Bayu Pusat.

I’m usually more of a sate kambing person, but given how popular this place is, I had to see what the buzz was about. Meat satay mix with fat, are incredibly tender and easy to chew. The fat just melts in your mouth, and the seasoning is rich and well-absorbed. Definitely worth the price. The Star - "Balung Dinosaurus": You can't come here and not order this. It’s a massive chunk of ribs with a perfect ratio of meat and fat—so satisfying to eat. My only small complaint was that it wasn’t served hot enough. Def need to refire it. The Sop Iga (Beef Ribs Soup): A bit of a surprise here—it’s not a traditional clear soup. It’s more like grilled seasoning with a bit of broth ("bumbu bakaran berkuah"). It was okay, but paled in comparison to satay. The place is quite spacious to accommodate the crowds, but don't expect "sparkling clean" standards. It’s a busy, high-turnover local joint, so it feels a bit rough around the edges. If you're a beef lover, those "Dinosaur" bones are a bucket-list item in Jogja.

Best barbeque ribs in town! The Balung Dinosaurus gets you a rack of 5 ribs on the backbone. Get your fingers dirty! The meat tastes really good, tender & well grilled. Love the farmhouse vibe. Service is quick. Check the opening hours, they close at 8pm not 9pm.

I had a really great meal here. The soup was very delicious and rich in flavor — really comforting and gurih. The grilled ribs were amazing, perfectly cooked with a smoky taste and very tender meat. The satay was also very tasty and well-seasoned. Everything paired really well with the rice. On top of that, the service was excellent — very friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

The ambience is nice, since the outdoorsy vibes emphasize the sensation of eating close to the nature. The service is nice and quick. The portion is sufficient, and price-wise, it is very affordable.

Got here on Ramadhan month. We got here without reservation and failed to get a proper table. So if you don't like sitting outside, you better get a reservation first. It is an extremely crowded diner, so you need to be very patient and anticipate a long serving time. Nevertheless, the food are extremely great, every menu i tried are delicious, not too sweet and the portion are great too. I eat outside near the paddy field but it feels really great as we watch the sun sets.
